We reported that Madonna was rumored to be talking to a divorce lawyer back on June 10th, but now it seems that it is national news. The original rumor stated that she was talking to, Nicholas Mostyn, but Fox News says she is “seeking advice from divorce attorney Fiona Shackleton, who represented Paul McCartney in his divorce from model Heather Mills.”

If you remember Heather Mills is the bionic bitch who made McCartney’s life hell, winning $50 million off the singer, in one of the longest and most expensive divorce cases in history.

Madonna’s soon to be ex, Guy Ritchie is also sitting pretty, because there is no prenuptial agreement, he could get an even 50-50 split of their assets.

If Madonna knew she was going to divorce him, she should have waited to release her last album Hard Candy, then at least she could have kept that money. I wonder if he will also get the money from her upcoming world tour that begins on August 23.
